Madrid, the capital city of Spain is located on the river Manzanares. Madrid has good educational system. It is home of large number of public and private universities. The most prestigious and largest university of Spain is the Complutense University of Madrid. The real origin time of this university was year 1293 during King Sancho IV reign who built Schools of Alcalá, which would give rise to Cisnero's Complutense University. Autonoma is the second best university after Complutense. It has a special recognition for its research strength in theoretical physics.

One can enter into the city through air via Barajas International Airport. Airport is nicely connected with train, taxi, metro and bus services. Madrid has a wide variety of restaurants serving both Spanish and all international cuisines. The better option for quality and low price food is the La Latina neighborhood just south of Plaza Mayor especially along the Cava Baja street. Some common local words for bars are a ración meaning a full dish, a media ración a half dish or a smaller version which would be a tapa, a pinxto or a pincho.
